Tips for Uses
- Wood and More can be used at any consistency from liquid to paste.
- Wood and More has the ability to 'creep' easily into the end grain of wood and corners, nooks and crannies.
On raw wood (old or new), it is recommended that you allow Wood and More to soak in for 1/2 to 1 hour, to see where a second coat may be necessary. Then just rub with a soft rag and enjoy the warm tone and patina.
- Old washclothes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. make great rags to apply and rub off Wood and More.
- Applying with a brush is great for corners, edges, and hard to reach areas.
- Rubbing Wood and More on the bottom of drawers helps them glide in and out.
- Rubbed on the inside of wooden or metal lids makes them easier to open and close.
- Wood and More makes hinges and gears work more smoothly.
- Applicators can be stored in a reclosable bag. The more saturated the rag becomes, the more economical the Wood and More becomes.
- Reusable jars that when empty, just wash out and use for whatever you want.
- A light application helps in removing stuck on labels.
- Old tin and iron are greatly enhanced. Remove surface rust, apply Wood and More, and rub off.
- For painted surfaces always test on an out of sight area first.
